What we believe in? And what we mean by responsible tourism?

Responsible tourism, the alternative to tourism

Various types of alternative tourisme have already been developped: green tourism, responsible toursime, fair toursim (as in fair trade), ecotourisme, socila tourism.

We call responsible tourism, a regular tourism but based on local initiatives and that aims at:

• a true and meaningful reunion between travelers ans local populations
• long term preservation of natural, cultural and social resources
• the economic development and happiness of the local populations (thanks to the use of the local economy, fair wages, stable partnerships, decent work conditions, share of knowledge...)

The tourism indusrty is too often aiming at the best rentability no matter what the consequences on local populations and economy may be. It often harms the ntural environment and does not always encourage economic development. Many travelers are now looking for new ways to travel without harming the natural and social environment of the place they are visiting. And many agencies are responding to this with a new offer.
